The purpose of this website is to email your job application to many legal employers. We make every effort to ensure accurate delivery of your job application. However: WE CANNOT GUARANTEE 100% ACCURACY, and therefore limit our guarantee of service for the following issues:
You are putting your credibility and reputation on the line when you email employers your personal information. It is your responsibility to proofread all of the documents that you upload to our site. Resumé Launchpad disclaims any responsibility for typos, inaccuracies, or a mistakes in your job application. Although we take care to ensure accuracy in our database, we disclaim responsibility for any inaccuracies that it may contain. It is your responsibility to make sure the firm name and recipient is accurate. If you suspect a problem with any part of your application package, email us before you send your application.
Although we make every effort to keep our database of legal employers up to date, people leave their job or move around within a company. Some data in the database may be months old and some email addresses within it may be out of date. Therefore, several applications may be returned as undeliverable. If more than 10 emails or 10% of all sent emails (whichever is greater) are returned as undeliverable, Resumé Launchpad will refund you for all undeliverable messages. Resumé Launchpad will not issue refunds if fewer than 10 emails or 10% of all sent emails (whichever is greater) are returned as undeliverable. Undeliverable emails do NOT include returned emails due to vacation, sick leave, or maternity leave.
There is NO RICH TEXT FORMATTING of your cover letter. Customized layout, large or small font sizes, different fonts, different colors, and non-ASCII characters are NOT supported. We cannot be responsible for any inaccuracies in your cover letter with respect to these and any other formatting issue. If you are unsure whether your cover letter will be formatted correctly, email us and ask us.
Resumé Launchpad relies on several network technologies to deliver your application to employers including: google-app-engine, godaddy.com registrar, underlying network infrastructure, and the employer's emailing and network system. Resumé Launchpad cannot be held responsible for the failure of any one of these systems, or of any other system outside the control of Resumé Launchpad.
After paying for the job application service, a Resumé Launchpad career specialist will contact you and, depending on the service, will ask you questions and begin discussing your job application. After you receive the draft of your resumé, cover letter, or writing sample, you are entitled to contact Resumé Launchpad within 14 days to make revisions.
Because our services are rendered in digital format and can not be physically returned, we do not offer refunds. Turnaround time for the an initial draft is roughly 3 to 5 days from the date of your first discussion with the career specialist. However, based on the difference sizes of each project, we can not guarantee a specific completion time.
The purpose of this website is to facilitate the application process of serious job applicants. Any other use is strictly prohibited. If we detect that our service is being used for spam, harassment, abuse, commercial solicitation or exploitation, or any other purpose other than the intended purpose of the Site, we reserve the right to terminate your account without refund and seek all available civil remedies and, depending on the offense, criminal charges.
No print out or electronic version of any part of the Site or its contents may be used by you in any litigation or arbitration matter whatsoever under any circumstances. You may not copy, print (except for the purpose permitted by Section 3.3(c)), display, distribute, or make available any portion of the Site or any information, materials or documents contained therein.
Any use of datascrapers on this website is strictly prohibited. A "datascraper" is any tool or process which pulls our database of legal employers off of our Site. It typically refers to automated computer-based tools but also includes any human-based datascraping as well. Webcrawlers may index our Site for the purpose of providing generalized web-search functions (e.g., google and yahoo search). Webcrawlers may not index our Site to create an employer database or employer search application.
Notwithstanding Sections 3.1 and 3.2, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
"www.resumelaunchpad.com" and "Resumé Launchpad" and others are our marks. Other product and company names mentioned on the Site may be trademarks of their respective owners.
Law firm logos, brand names and other marks featured or referred to within Resumé Launchpad's products and services and within resumelaunchpad.com are the properties of their respective trademark and service mark holders. These trademark and service mark holders are not affiliated with Resumé Launchpad, our products, or our services, and they do not sponsor or endorse our materials.
BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH STATES, Resumé Launchpad's LIABILITY IS LIMITED AND WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUT SHALL, IN NO EVENT, EXCEED $100.00 OR THE AMOUNT PAID FOR Resumé Launchpad'S SERVICES, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
The above limit of liability excludes the refund guarantee described in Section 2.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute between the parties arising out of the enforcement of this Agreement or any breach of this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of New York County, New York.
If a provision of this Agreement is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect (1) the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this Agreement; or (2) the validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of that or any other provision of this Agreement.
